Why endings? Because whether we like it or not, endings are a part of life. They are woven into the fabric of our lives and communities. On the good side of life, for us to get to the next level or a new tomorrow, something has to end.
Life has stages, seasons and phases. When we experience something new, old things have to give way for the new to come in. Without the ability to end things well, we stay stuck and never become who we are meant to be. We never accomplish all our talents and abilities can offer.
Endings are an important factor in our personal lives. There are relationships that need to end, practices and phases that need relinquishment, and stages that need to open us up to our next vista.
Endings are not only part of life..they are a requirement for living and thriving professionally and personally. Being alive requires that we kill off things in which we once invested, uproot what was once nurtured and tear down what we built for a significant part of our lives.
